The Mahmoud Mokhtar Museum will host the international caricature exhibition "Knight of Arab Art" on July 16, honoring acclaimed Egyptian actor Mohamed Sobhy in recognition of his remarkable artistic journey and his lasting impact on Arab culture and the arts.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Dr. Mahmoud Hamed, Head of the Fine Arts Sector at Egypt's Ministry of Culture, and Mostafa El Sheikh, President of the Egyptian Caricature Association, in the presence of Mohamed Sobhy, Dr. Vadim Zaychikov, Director of the Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt, along with a distinguished group of artists, intellectuals, media professionals, caricaturists, and public figures.

The exhibition features 135 caricature portraits created by 116 artists from 28 countries. The selected works were chosen from 230 submissions by 174 artists representing 38 countries, highlighting Mohamed Sobhy's prestigious artistic status both regionally and internationally.
The artworks draw inspiration from Sobhy's rich creative career, reflecting his iconic theatrical, cinematic, and television roles, as well as the cultural and humanitarian messages that have shaped generations across the Arab world.

The exhibition is organized through a collaboration between the Egyptian Caricature Association, the Fine Arts Sector of the Ministry of Culture, the Russian Cultural Center in Cairo, and the Arab Association for Caricature Arts.
The exhibition's organizing committee includes Mostafa El Sheikh, Fawzy Morsi, Sherif Gad, Emad Gomaa, and Dalida El Zahar.

Mohamed Sobhy expressed his sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Culture and the organizing institutions for this international tribute, describing the participating artworks as an important artistic document that reflects the creativity and talent of caricature artists from Egypt and around the world.
For his part, Fawzy Morsi, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Caricature Association and the exhibition's founder, invited art and culture enthusiasts to visit the exhibition and enjoy a unique collection celebrating one of the Arab world's most influential artistic figures.
