Renowned Egyptian actor and director Mohamed Sobhi has been hospitalized after suffering a health scare in the early hours of Monday.
Sobhi is currently under medical observation in the intensive care unit (ICU) to ensure his full recovery.
A source close to the acclaimed actor said that he has begun to regain consciousness and has entered the recovery phase.
In August, Sobhi was rushed to the hospital after collapsing due to work-related fatigue. He had been transferred to the ICU to receive medical care and to get some health issues under control, and left as soon as his health was fully improved, and resumed his work as usual.
Born on March 3, 1948, Sobhi is one of the most prominent stars in the Arab world. He has contributed to numerous important and entertaining films and television works, in addition to his impressive theatrical productions.
