Egyptian stars Mohamed Sallam and Hend Ahmed Abdel Halim are collaborating in the comedy radio series ”Gheer Saleh Lel Nasher”.
The series consists of 30 episodes and set to broadcast on the "NRJ" radio station during the holy month of Ramadan.
Zahra Ramy is directing the series from a script by Ahmed and Mohamed Mohareb.
The cast also includes Mohammed Otaka, Marwan Younes, and more.
On the other hand, Sallam is also participating in the drama marathon with season 8 of Egyptian actor Ahmed Mekky's comedy hit TV series “Al-Kabir Awy” has been unveiled.
Season 8 of “Al-Kabir Awy” witnesses the return of cast members such as Mekky, Rahma Ahmed, Bayoumi Fouad, Hisham Ismail, Mohamed Salam, Samaa Ibrahem, Hussein Hagag, and Hatem Salah.
It also features several A-listers making a cameo including Amina Khalil.
Ahmed El-Gendy is directing the series from a script by Mustafa Saqr and Mohamed Ezzeldin.
The series is produced by the Synergy production company and is set to debut during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
“Al-Kabir Awy” made its debut in 2010. It revolves around the Mayor of the Mazarita village, in upper Egypt, who discovers he has other siblings.
The series achieved great success and became one of the best comedy series screened annually during Ramadan. It was renewed in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2022, and 2023.
