Egyptian actor and rapper Mohamed Ramadan's hit single "Ana Enta" is up for Grammy consideration in the category of Best Global Music Performance.

Ramadan broke the news on Instagram and vowed that if he won he would dedicate the award to the Grand Egyptian Museum.

The Grammy Awards are among the most prestigious music awards in the world.

It is a set of highly respected musical awards presented by The Recording Academy in the United States to honor outstanding achievements in the music industry across a wide range of genres.

Often called "music's biggest night," winning a Grammy is a significant professional milestone, and even just being nominated for a Grammy, has an immeasurable positive impact on the nominated and winning artists.

It opens up new career avenues, builds global awareness of artists, and ultimately solidifies a creator’s place in history.

Since the award is the only peer-voted award in music, this means artists are recognized, awarded, and celebrated by those in their fields and industries, ultimately making the value of a Grammy truly priceless and immeasurable.

Arab or Egyptian artists are rarely nominated, reflecting Ramadan's success in reaching the global competition alongside some of the most prominent international music stars.
