Egyptian Star Mohamed Ramadan responded to the criticism directed at him by the Israeli Channel 10, which called on the Israeli people to boycott his works, against the backdrop of a message he sent to the Arab armies regarding Gaza.

Ramadan said in a video he posted on his social media accounts: “The Israeli Channel 10 calls on the Israeli people to boycott my work because I made a video urging Arabs to unite and defend our sisters, women, and blood in Gaza.”

The Egyptian artist added in a response to the Israeli channel: “This is the least duty I do in front of my sisters, and the second duty I do for you, and this is my message to the Israeli Channel 10, the name of my character in the upcoming series will be Abu Obaida.”

Earlier, Israeli media launched a violent attack on Egyptian star Mohamed Ramadan, after he called on Egyptians and Arabs to join the fight and defend the Gaza Strip.

Last week, Ramadan called on the Arab armies to use their weapons to defend Gaza, saying in a video he posted on his social media accounts: “I have received many requests to publish something so that our voice can be heard ... Our voice must be heard by our country.”

Abu Obeida is the military spokesperson for Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades.
