Mohamed Mamdouh and Dina El Sherbiny Reteam for Film "Ahl El Eab"

Egyptian stars Mohamed Mamdouh and Dina El Sherbiny have found their next collaboration in the film "Ahl El Eab".

The project dates back to 2019 and marks Mamdouh and El Sherbiny fourth collaboration after "Shaqo," "Grand Hotel," and "Kedbet Kol Youm."

Ahmed Fahmy is also attached to star in the film.

Principal photography is set to commence in the coming period.

Mamdouh was last seen on the film "kharita Ras El Sana" ("Christmas Map") and El Sherbiny in the 2025 rom-com film “Talaqni."

Riham Abdel Ghafour will take on a lead role opposite Mamdouh, in their third reunion.

They previously worked together in the 2023 TV series "Rashid" and the 2017 TV series "La Totfe' Al Shams".

Ramy ElGindy directed from a screenplay by Youssef Wagdy. Scoop Art Production is the studio behind the project.

"kharita Ras El Sana" marks Abdel Ghafour's first leading film role and follows a woman with Down syndrome (Abdel Ghafour) who embarks on a journey full of challenges and moving situations alongside her nephew, in an attempt to find his mother who vanished after his father's sudden death.

Rounding out the cast are Asma Abulyazeid, Hanady Mehanna, and child star Asser.

"kharita Ras El Sana" hit cinemas across Egypt on December 24.
