Egyptian superstar Mohamed Hamaki is opening up about several aspects of his career, including his future projects, new album, and dream of acting.

In conversation with the "ET Bil Arabi”, Hamaki said that he still dreams of acting, adding that he has been offered many roles since the beginning of his career but has yet to find a role that fulfils his acting ambitions.

He noted, "I hope my career doesn't end before I star in a film with a different artistic vision."

Hamaki also revealed a project he has been working on for nearly a decade: a documentation of his music career.

He noted that it is still in the development phase and has yet to receive a premiere date.

As for his new album, the superstar emphasized that he always strives to provide content that appeals to his fans, which is why the album's releases have been delayed.

He explained, "I'm not intentionally delaying my fans, but I want to present a complete work that appeals to them. We have already finalized all the songs, and there's only a short time left before the album is ready for release.”

The record consists of 10 songs and was initially slated to arrive in the summer.

In the album, Hamaki cooperates with new collaborations with composers Tamer Hussein, Aziz Elshafei, and more.

The megastar released his last album “Howa El Asas” in August 2024.

Hamaki, born on November 4, 1975, is one of Egypt’s and the Middle East’s most talented male singers.

He released his first single in 1997 and his first album “Khalina Neesh” (Let’s Live) in 2003.

Hamaki’s music career consisted of more than a dozen songs and 9 albums.

The acclaimed singer won many awards including the “Best Arabia Act” award at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2010 and the “Best Singer” award in 2008 at the MTV Music Awards.
