Egyptian actor Mohamed Emam will no longer participate in the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.
He was initially set to participate in the marathon with the TV series "Al Malek".
The series was postponed to the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon due to a conflict in the shooting schedule and the enormity of the project, which requires shooting in multiple countries and requires a lot of preparation due to the nature of its topic.
"Al Malek" hails from director Shereen Adel and scriptwriter Mohamed Salah El Azab.
Emam participated last Ramadan with the TV series "Cobra".
The cast also includes Rakeen Saad, Amr Abdul Gelil, Mahmoud El-Bezzawy, Mourad Makram, Mohamed Osama, famously known as "Osos", and more.
The series is scripted by Ahmed Mahmoud Abou Zeid, directed by Ahmed Shafek, and produced by the Synergy production company.
"Cobra" consists of 15 episodes and screened during the second half of the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
