Egyptian actor Mohamed Emam has signed on to star in the upcoming stage production of "Prince El Alam". This will be the artist’s theatrical debut.
The play hails from writer Mostafa Baseet and is set to be staged during the Riyadh season.
Emam took to social media to express immense enthusiasm for the project, describing it as a "dream come true."
"We put our trust in God," he wrote in a statement on Facebook. "A new dream, a surprise coming soon, God willing. Prince of the World."
The production represents a major milestone for the actor, moving him away from cinema and television to engage directly with the audience.
The upcoming show is expected to blend comedy and large-scale spectacle, introducing a new chapter to his artistic repertoire.

Emam can be seen in the action-comedy film "Saqr Wi Kanarya".
The film also boasts a cast that also includes Chico, Yosra El Lozy, Khaled El Sawy, Yara El Sokkary, Mimi Gamal, and more. It also features several guest spots, including Mahmoud Abdel Moghny, Diab, and Nesreen Amin.
Hussein El Menbawy directs the pic from a script by Ayman Wattar. Oscar Distribution Production is the studio behind the project.
"Saqr Wi Kanarya" is centered around Saqr, a gangster who decides to leave the crime world behind in search of a quieter life, thats when he meets Bilal, a writer obsessed with the world of espionage and adventures. Together, a series of paradoxes and unexpected situations launches, turning their lives upside down.
Talking about the film, Emam described it as "One of my closest works" and reunited him with several previous collaborators.

Emam, born on December 16, 1984, comes from an artistic family as his father is ‘El Zaeem’ actor Adel Emam and the younger brother of director Rami Emam.
He went to Jesuit school before he entered the American University in Cairo. Emam studied theater and acted in many roles at the university, including “Atawa in El Maghmati” play directed by Mahmoud El Lozy.
Emam first began his acting career as a child, co-starring alongside his father in the 1990 film “Hanafi El Abha” (The Magnificent Hanafi).
His first role as an adult was in the 2003 TV series “Kanaria and Shorkah”. Emam’s first film as the main protagonist was “Al Beeh Romansy” (The Romantic Bey) in 2009.
His TV credits include "El Nemr", “Hogan”, “Lam’yy El Ott”,”Saheb El Saada”,”Firqat Naji Atallah”,”Khatout Hamra", “Bilshama’a El Ahmar”, and “Khatut Hamra”.
Emam is also known for his roles in films "Amohom", “Lis Bagdad”, “Lelyt Hana w Sorour”, “Gahim Fe El Hend”, “Captain Masr”,”Al-Bayh Romancy”, “Hassan and Marcus”, and “The Yacoubian Building”.
