Egyptian stars Mohamed Emam and Ahmed Elawady will star in the film "Al Arka."
The film hails from writer/director Mohamed Salah Al-Azab and marks the first collaboration between Emam and Elawady.
Emam was last seen on the big screen in the comedy film "El Leab Ma El Eyal" and Elawady in the film adaptation of late Egyptian scriptwriter Osama Anwar Okasha's novel "El Eskandarany".
Up next, Emam will appear in the film "Saqr Wi Kanarya".
The cast also includes Chico, Yasmin Raeis, Yosra El Lozy, Khaled El Sawy, Yara El Sokkary, Entsar, and more.
It is scripted by Ayman Wattar, directed by Hussein El Menbawy, and produced by Wael Abdullah.
Principal photography was launched in multiple locations including Egypt and London.
"Saqr Wi Kanarya" marks the second collaboration between Emam and Raeis after the 2020 film “Lis Bagdad”.

Emam, born on December 16, 1984, comes from an artistic family as his father is ‘El Zaeem’ actor Adel Emam and the younger brother of director Rami Emam.
He first began his acting career as a child co-starring alongside his father in the 1990 film “Hanafi El Abha” (The Magnificent Hanafi).
Emam landed his first major role as an adult in the 2003 TV series “Kanaria and Shorkah”.
The actor also held roles in TV shows "El Nemr", “Hogan”, “Lam’yy El Ott”,” Saheb El Saada”,” Firqat Naji Atallah”,” Khatout Hamra", “Bilshama’a El Ahmar”, and “Khatut Hamra”.
Emam got his first leading role in the 2009 film “Al Beeh Romansy” (The Romantic Bey).
On the film side his credits include "Amohom", “Lis Bagdad”, “Lelyt Hana w Sorour”, “Gahim Fe El Hend”, “Captain Masr”,” Al-Bayh Romancy”, “Hassan and Marcus”, and “The Yacoubian Building”.
