Rising actor Moataz Hesham is starring in the musical TV series "Sukkar".
The audience gained a first glimpse of the highly-anticipated series on Wednesday, April 19th, which instantly went viral on the internet.
The eight-episode series also stars Magda Zaki, Mohamed Tharwat, Reham Elshanawany, Yasmina, Mohamed Harby, and others.
Directed by Tamer Mahdy, "Sukkar" addresses a variety of child-related concerns in a comedic fashion.
The series is produced by Aroma and marks Shahid streaming platform's first original musical content.
"Sukkar" is slated to debut on the platform shortly after Ramadan.

Hesham is currently shooting the third season of "Why Not", starring Nelly Karim.
The young actor gained recognition for his portrayal of Selim I in the TV series "Kingdoms of Fire".
The series featured an ensemble cast of Arab stars including Khaled Al-Nabawy, Mahmoud Nasr, Abdel-Mounaem Amayri, Nedal Najm, and Kinda Hanna.
It was written by Mohammed Soleiman Abdel-Malek and directed by Alejandro Toledo and Peter Webber.
Hesham was last seen in the TV series "The Devil's Promise" starring Amr Youssef.
It also starred Fathi Abdulwahhab, Ahmed Magdy, Yagoub Alfarhan, Paula Patton, and Aisha Ben Ahmed.
The series dominated Google's search results only hours after its debut. It is now streaming on Shahid.
