Syrian actor Moatasem Al Nahar is set to star alongside Egyptian Yasmine Sabri in an untitled film.
The pic hails from director Ahmed Khaled Amin and scriptwriter Ahmed Abdulfattah.
The project marks Sabri's first lead film role and is set to begin shooting in the coming weeks.

Sabri was recently seen in the blockbuster film "Al Mashrue X" ("Project X").
The pic premiered in theaters and IMAX on May 21 and has grossed EGP 141 million, coming third in the highest-grossing films in the history of Egyptian cinema.
"Al Mashrue X" features an ensemble cast that includes Karim Abdel Aziz, Eyad Nassar, Mariam El Gendy, Essam El Sakka, Ahmed Ghozzi, and more. Hannah El Zahed and Maged El Kedwany will also make an appearance in the project.
Peter Mimi directed the film from a script he co-wrote with Ahmed Hosny. Synergy Plus is the studio behind the pic.
The film's official logline reads: "When a troubled archaeologist uncovers ancient secrets that could revolutionize the world’s energy supply, he becomes the target of a shadowy organization determined to keep the knowledge buried. In a race against time and powerful enemies, he must decide between revealing the truth and protecting his daughter from the deadly forces closing in on them."
