Paramount Pictures revealed Monday the official trailer for the highly-anticipated movie "Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One".
The footage featured the same globe-trotting and intense stunts viewers have come to expect from the franchise.
Hollywood star Tom Cruise is reprising his role as the seemingly indestructible globe-trotting secret agent Ethan Hunt in real life as well as in the seventh and eighth follow-ups of the hugely successful franchise “Mission Impossible”.
The highly-anticipated sequel, co-produced by Skydance, was initially slated to open on July 23, 2021. It has been postponed multiple times as the public health situation has changed due to coronavirus.

The seventh installment in the hugely successful franchise was one of the first to be hit by delays caused by the pandemic when its Venice film set was shut by the Italian government days before filming was due to start in February 2020.
The production resumed shooting with new precautions in place in August, with a minor pump following the stuntman’s explosion.
The project warrped filming in Febuary 2021.
The seventh installment is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who previously helmed “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” and “Fallout”. He is also set to helm the eighth movie.
It will also star Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, and Angela Bassett.
“Mission Impossible: 7” debuts in theaters worldwide on July 14, 2023.
