The coronation ceremony of the Miss Intercontinental 2021 competition in its 49th session, hosted by the front yard of the Sharm El-Sheikh Museum, has just kicked off, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities represented by the Tourism Activation Authority.

73 countries from around the world are participating in this competition, and it is organized by one of the tourism investors.

On his part, Amr El-Qadi, CEO Of The Egyptian Authority for Tourism Activation indicated that the ministry's sponsorship of this ceremony comes within the framework of its keenness to benefit from various events to promote the Egyptian tourist destinations and highlight its perse and unique archaeological components.

The state adopts such promotion to combine multiple tourism products, namely beaches, recreational and cultural tourism by linking the Nile Valley cities with coastal tourist cities through the development of domestic airlines linking all tourist governorates.

It is worth noting that a new flight began operating between Sharm El-Sheikh and Luxor, once per week, at a unified return ticket price, including taxes, at around EGP 1,800, so that tourists visit Sharm El-Sheikh in addition to enjoying museums and archaeological sites in Luxor.
