The “Miss Elite World 2022” competition kicked off Friday evening in the Red Sea governorate under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
Egypt hosted the event for the first time, with the participation of 36 countries around the world, including, Algeria, Lebanon, Morocco, Australia, the Czech Republic, Italy, China, Colombia, India, France, Brazil, Russia, Macedonia, Poland, Spain, Tunisia, Serbia, America, Latvia, Venezuela, and Germany.
On his part, Amr El-Kady, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation, stressed the importance of the various events hosted by Egypt as they contribute to the tourism promotion of the Egyptian tourist destination internationally, especially in the countries participating in these competitions.
He also called the contestants participating in the event ambassadors for Egyptian tourism to publish photos and videos about their visit to Egypt on various social networking sites.
In like manner, Maha Eid, Director General of Tourism Awareness at the SCTA, noted that the authority distributed souvenirs, promotional materials, and documentaries about the Egyptian tourist destination to the contestants participating in the competition.
