Egyptian stars Mirna Gamil and Ahmed Dawood are teaming up again in the TV series "Baba Wi Mama Geran".
Ahmed Abdel Wahab directs from a script by Walaa Al-Sharif. Cedars Art Production is the studio behind the project.
The series marks Gamil and Dawood's second collaboration after the comedy film "El Crush" ("The Crush") (TBA).
"Baba Wi Mama Geran" is set to screen on the MBC group during the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon.
Born on June 25, 1992, Gamil is an actress and TV presenter who made her acting debut in the 2014 play "Ba'd Al Leil".
In 2016, she landed her first role in a feature in "Abo Shanab" and her first TV role in "Leila".
Gamil is also known for presenting the show "Saturday Night Live Bel Araby".
Her TV credits also include "Rob' Romi", "Omar & Diab", "El Leaba", "Al-Sherka Al-Almanya Lmokafahet Al-Khawareq: Jamjoum w Bembem", "El Beit Beity", and "Bayt El Refaei".
