Egyptian actress-singer Mirhan Hussein has recently joined the cast of actor, Mohamed Ragab's new TV series “El Wensh” (Winch).
The series consists of 45 episodes. It is directed by Ismail Farouk and produced by Synergy production company.
“El Wensh” witnesses the third collaboration between Hussein and Ragab after they worked together on the film "El khalbous" (2015) and the TV series “Alamet Estefham” (2019).
Principal photography is set to begin in August.
Hussein made her latest TV role in Hannah El Zahed and Ahmed Hatem‘s rom-com TV series “Ana W Heya”.
It also stars Ashraf Abdil Baky, Arfa Abdel Rassoul, and others.
“Ana W Heya” consists of 18 episodes. It is penned by Mostafa Hamdy and directed by Sameh Abdelaziz.
Hussein, born on October 28, 1982, gained fame after representing Egypt in 2008 in the 5th season of the Arabic version of the reality talent show "Star Academy".
Prior to Star Academy, the actress studied travel and tourism and then worked in an advertising agency. Her path after the academy proves that she is determined to pursue her career.
She is known for TV productions such as “Ana w Heya” (2022), “Nael Aam" (2022), “Sittat Bayt Al Maadi" (2021), "Nassibi w Esmetek 4" (2021), "Khatem Al Nemr" (2020), "Qaed Aaely" (2019), "El Ab El Rohi 1 & 2", "Ayoub" (2018), "El Khanka" (2016), "Al-Moghany" (2016), "Hawary Bokharest" (2015), "Qesset Hob" (2015), "Adam wa Jamila" (2013), and "Mama Fi Al-Qism" (2010).
