Egyptian actress-singer Mirhan Hussein has shared details of her debut album “Sht Alby”.
On December 1, Hussein has offered a taste of the record with the release of her first single “Shahr December,”.
She collaborated with songwriter Samer Tarek and composer Gaber Gamal on the track.
In conversation with "Nogoum FM" radio Station, Hussein opened up about the song selection approach for the album, noting: "When I heard the lyrics of 'Shahr December,' I felt they were very similar to me, because my favorite time of year is December, even though I was born in October,".
She added, "I'm currently working on an album of 10 songs, and I hope people will like it,".
Hussein has previously expressed her desire for music, but the decision was put on hold due to her being busy with her acting career.
Born on October 28, 1982, Hussein gained fame after representing Egypt in 2008 in the 5th season of the Arabic version of the reality talent show "Star Academy".
Prior to Star Academy, the actress studied travel and tourism and then worked in an advertising agency. Her path after the academy proves that she is determined to pursue her career.
She is known for TV productions such as “Ana w Heya” (2022), “Nael Aam" (2022), “Sittat Bayt Al Maadi" (2021), "Nassibi w Esmetek 4" (2021), "Khatem Al Nemr" (2020), "Qaed Aaely" (2019), "El Ab El Rohi 1 & 2", "Ayoub" (2018), "El Khanka" (2016), "Al-Moghany" (2016), "Hawary Bokharest" (2015), "Qesset Hob" (2015), "Adam wa Jamila" (2013), and "Mama Fi Al-Qism" (2010).
