Nabila Makram Abdel-Shaheed, Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs (SEEEA) , Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, and German Ambassador in Cairo Dr. Cyril Noon inaugurated today, Monday, the Egyptian German Center for Jobs, Migration and Reintegration, in partnership with the German Agency for International Cooperation which offered funding of € 2 million.
The ceremony was attended by both Dr. Saber Suleiman, Assistant Minister of SEEEA for Institutional Development, Ambassador Badr Abdel Aty, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Affairs, Director of the International Organization for Migration in Cairo, Director of the International Labor Organization Office in Cairo, Director of the World Food Program Office in Cairo, and a group of representatives of government agencies.

The Egyptian- German Center for Jobs, Migration and Reintegration is the fruit of cooperation between the Ministry of SEEEA and the German Agency for International Cooperation (in German :Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) ), as part of the "Survival Boats" initiative that commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ( .

The center is part of a bilateral cooperation program between Egypt and Germany to provide job opportunities for Egyptians residing in Egypt and immigrants returning from abroad.
The center provides guidance to find the right career path for the inpiduals in their homeland, integrate returnees from abroad into the Egyptian society economically and socially, in addition to contributing to the reduction. One of the tools to fight the irregular migration is raising awareness of its dangers and assisting those who wish to obtain opportunities to migrate outside Egypt by providing them necessary information for that. The center also meets the needs and demands of Egyptian youth who are looking for better opportunities for work and training, as the center’s services are pided into four main sections:
Main sections:
- The first is rehabilitation for the Egyptian labor market through specialized training courses in various fields of work. The second is the economic and social integration of returnees from abroad into Egyptian society.
-The third is to assist those who wish to obtain opportunities to migrate outside Egypt by providing the necessary information for this.
-The fourth is raising awareness of the dangers of illegal immigration and providing positive alternatives. Through the help of a professional and knowledgeable team, the center aims to support training and self-development for Egyptian youth of all groups.
The team provides advice and guidance on work in Egypt and Germany, as well as - as a reliable source of information - to build confidence that helps reduce the phenomenon of irregular migration by providing correct information on the opportunities for regular migration.It also aims to raise awareness of the dangers of irregular migration, and the provision of positive alternatives.

The Egyptian- German Center for Jobs, Migration and Reintegration in Cairo provides the following services:-Inpidual sessions for career counseling
-Job opportunities within the Arab Republic of Egypt
-Training programs on employment skills
-Providing information about the risks of illegal immigration
-Providing information about opportunities for regular migration in order to work
- The economic and social reintegration of Egyptians returning from abroad.
