Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled al-Anani and UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay, along with her accompanying delegation visited Aswan on Monday.

This visit comes within the framework of Azoulay’s current stay in Egypt upon Al-Anani’s invitation to attend the royal mummies parade, which was held Saturday night.

Moreover, they were joined by Secretary General of Supreme Council of Antiquities Mostafa Waziri and the Director General of Aswan Antiquities Abdel Moneim Saeed.

During the visit, they had a tour to the Philae Temple, the Nubia Museum and the tourist market, where they inspected development work being carried out there, and had an encounter with the tourist bazaar owners.
