Minister of Tourism Receives Kuwait's Ambassador in Cairo

Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Tourism & Antiquities, received today at the ministry’s headquarters in Zamalek, Mohamed Saleh Al-Dhuwaikh, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait in Cairo.

The Kuwaiti Ambassador was keen to meet the minister to bid him farewell before the end of his term as ambassador of his country in Cairo.

The meeting was attended by Minister Plenipotentiary Dalia Abdel Fattah, General Supervisor of the General Department of International Relations and Agreements, and Dr. Wafaa Al-Otaibi, Secretary of the State of Kuwait Mission in Cairo.

The Minister of Tourism & Antiquities began the meeting by welcoming the ambassador, stressing the depth of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations and their distinction in all fields.

The Kuwaiti diplomat noted that his tenure as ambassador of the State of Kuwait witnessed fruitful cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the Kuwaiti ambassador praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities to push and revitalize the incoming tourism movement to Egypt.

He also congratulated Dr. Khaled Al-Anani for the success of the "Luxor...The Road of Rams" celebration, and invited him to attend the celebration that will be held by the embassy to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations .

It is worth noting that Kuwait is one of the most important tourist markets exporting tourism to Egypt; there are many agreements for tourism cooperation between the two countries, in addition to a number of executive programs signed between the two countries in the field of tourism work.
