Today, Monday, Dr. Khaled El-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, met with Lutfi Rauf, Indonesia’s Ambassador in Cairo, and his accompanying delegation, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Zamalek District.
The meeting was also attended by Minister Plenipotentiary Dalia Abdel-Fattah, General Supervisor of the General Department of International Relations and Agreements in the Ministry.
The minister and the Indonesian discussed means to enhance cooperation between the Egypt and Indonesia in the fields of tourism and antiquities, which would push more tourism movement between the two countries, and exchange experiences in the fields of tourism, and archaeological, and the field of investment in new tourist places.
The Indonesian ambassador stressed the depth of relations between the two countries, expressing his happiness to assume his position in Egypt nearly a year ago, during which he visited a number of tourist destinations.
He praised beauty and persity of the Egyptian tourist destination, the ancient Egyptian civilization and the strictness of the precautionary measures that are applied in it.
