Dr. Nevine Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, received the awards of the 55th session of the Cairo International Book Fair 2024, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Bahey El-Din, President of the Egyptian General Book Organization, President of the Egyptian Publishers Union, Mr. Said Abdo, and President of the Arab Publishers Union, Mohamed Rashad.

The awards of the exhibition were as follows: - In the field of novel. The award was won by Mohammed Abdul Rahman Ibrahim Al-Fakharany, for his novel "Food in the House of the Cook", and in the short story, Habib Wael Saad Muhammad Siam won the award for his story "One rose was enough".

And the field of colloquial poetry, won the award Abdo El-Sayed Ahmed Egyptian, for his book "Life McKinchi sweeter", and in classical poetry, won the award Gamal El-Din Abdel Aziz Sibai retribution, for his book "There was music here".

As for the field of children's writing, the award was won equally by: Ahmed Abdel Naeem Mustafa Al-Sayed for his book "Read, Draw and Color (The hero of the tale is the city of Touta Tuta), and Safaa Farid Abdul Aziz Al-Baili for her book "My

riends... Diwan of Poetry.

In the field of humanities and new media, the award was won by Dr. Sherine Mohamed Ahmed Kadwani and Dr. Sherihan Mohamed Tawfiq Abdel Hafez for their book "Digital Media... publishing legislation and ethics".

In the field of scientific books (artificial intelligence), the award was won by Ehab Abdel Hamid Khalifa Abdel Aal, for his book "Deadly Algorithms".

In the field of literary criticism, the prize was won equally by: Mohamed Ibrahim El-Sayed Abdel Aal for his book "Towards the Methodology of Cultural Liberation of Literature", and Hossam Gayle Abdel Ati Zayed for his book "Textual Coherence in Arabic Poetry".

In the field of heritage realization, the award was won by Marwa Mohammed Ali Al-Sharif, for her book "Glossary of Terms... Heritage Pharmacy". In the field of arts, Mahmoud Mahmoud Mohamed Kassem won the prize for his book "Science, Cinema and Imagination".

The award for best translated book was won by Waliska Hooper, translated by Mohamed Sabri Mohamed Youssef, and the title of the book is "Directing movement through sea channels... Migration and Globalization in the Suez Canal Area and Beyond

The award for the best translated book for children, won by Lucy Hawking and Stephen Hawking, translated by Ahmed Samir Saad Ibrahim, and the book is entitled "George and his secret key to the universe".

The Best Egyptian Publisher Award was won by House of Wisdom Group for Cultural Industries, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Al-Saeed Suleiman, while the Best Arab Publisher Award was won equally by: Dar Al-Riwaq for Publishing and Distribution (Egypt) Hani Mohamed Abdullah Abdel Gawad, and Dar Al-Mid for Publishing and Distribution (Milan) Khaled Suleiman Al-Nasir.
