Minister of Culture Inspects Egypt's Arts Academy in Rome

Egypt's Minister of Culture Nevin Al-Kilani inspected the Egyptian Academy of Arts in Rome, as part of her visit to Italy to participate in the 18th edition of the Venice Architecture Biennale Forum. 

Al-Kilani, accompanied by Ambassador Bassam Rady, the Ambassador of Egypt to Rome, and the Director of the Academy, toured the "Tutankhamun Treasures Museum" at the Egyptian Academy of Arts, where they discussed opportunities to promote Egyptian tourism in Europe, especially Italy.

She was also briefed on the contents of the museum, including replica pieces representing the tomb of the Golden King's archaeological treasures.

In addition to this, the minister held a visit to an art exhibition entitled: "Under The Sky of Tutankhamun”, and the Academy’s library, which houses more than ten thousand books, a number of rare copies of the Annals, covering many fields, and disciplines such as “arts, literature, architecture, cinema, theater,” in addition to history and antiquities.
