Min. of Tourism Inaugurates Egyptian Pavilion at Leisure Exhibition

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa inaugurated on Tuesday the Egyptian pavilion at the 29th session of the Leisure Exhibition, which will run until September 14 in the Russian capital, Moscow.

In a statement recently issued by the Ministry of Tourism, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities held a number of meetings with Russian tour operators and Egyptian exhibitors on the sidelines of the forum to discuss boosting tourism movement from Russia to Egypt.

Issa said the meetings, which were held at the Egyptian Embassy premises in Moscow, witnessed a review of the latest developments in the tourism industry in Egypt and plans to increase the influx of Russian tourists to Egyptian tourism destinations in the coming phase.

This year, 15 countries and 50 Russian regions are participating in the exhibition. Egypt has a pavilion of 100 square meters featuring 6 Egyptian tourism companies, hotels, and airlines.
