Mimi Gamal Joins TV Series "Kamal Al Adeed" Season 2

Veteran Egyptian actress Mimi Gamal has recently joined the cast of season 2 of the TV series "Kamal Al Adeed".

"Kamal Al Adeed" season one consisted of 15 episodes and was screened during the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon.

It starred Dina El Sherbiny, Sherif Salama, Esaad Younis, Aya Samaha, Ahmed Kamal, Ahmed Gamal Saeed, Gihan El Shamashergy, Amr Gamal, and others.

Khaled Al-Halafawi directed the series from a screenplay by Yousry Taher and Rana Abu Al-Rish.

The series is centered around Ahmad and Layla who fall in love and decide to get married. Little do they know that a secret each of them is hiding from the other may put their love to the test.

Gamal participated last Ramadan with the TV series "Alaqa Mashroa", starring Yasser Galal.

It also starred Mai Omar, Dalia Moustafa, Mourad Makram, Passant Shawky, and others.

The 15-episode series was scripted by Samah El Hariry and directed by Khaled Merhi.

Gamal, born on May 27, 1941, starred in over 500 films, television, and stage productions. She began her acting career as a child in the 1953 film "Aqwa mn Al-Hob". She was married to Egyptian actor Hassan Mostapha. They married in June 1966 and had two daughters. Mostapha died on May 15, 2015.
