Miley Cyrus is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, May 22.
Actress Anya Taylor-Joy and fashion designer Donatella Versace will speak at the star ceremony, which will be emceed by iHeart Media personality Ellen K (who received a star in 2012).
Cyrus’ star – the 2,845th to be presented – will be located at 7011 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood.
The ceremony will be held at 11:30 a.m. PT and will stream live on its site.
“Miley deserves her flowers as she has made a lasting impact on the entertainment industry,” Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement. “Generations of young girls have grown up watching her evolve, finding inspiration in her journey and fearless creativity.”
Cyrus has won two Grammys for the latter smash – record of the year and best pop solo performance. She earned a third Grammy for best country duo/group performance as a featured artist on Beyoncé’s “II MOST WANTED.”
Cyrus also received a Golden Globe nomination for best original song for co-writing “I Thought I Lost You” from Bolt. Her performance as Ashley O in Black Mirror further showed her artistic range.
She has fronted major campaigns for Maison Margiela, Gucci’s Flora fragrance, and Dolce & Gabbana.
Cyrus is the founder of the Miley Cyrus Foundation, dedicated to supporting mothers in all their diversity.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce administers the Walk of Fame for the City of Los Angeles.
