The Egyptian Meteorological Authority predicted mild weather during the daytime on Thursday in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, and northern coasts. Moderate weather is predicted on South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.

The weather will be cold at night in all parts of the country.

Temperatures will start to rise from Saturday, by two to four degrees.

Mist will cover some roads leading to and from Cairo, Giza, Lower Egypt, the cities of the northern coasts, the Suez Canal, and the governorates of northern Upper Egypt.

Dusty winds are predicted in Cairo, Giza, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the Suez Canal cities and Sinai, with storms in some areas, decreasing horizontal visibility.

Meteorologists added that moderate rain is predicted at a rate between 40 percent and 50 percent on the governorates of the northern Delta at intermittent intervals.

They also expect light rain at a rate of 20 percent in some areas of the southern Delta governorates and Greater Cairo.

Meteorologists called on citizens during the coming hours to wear heavy clothes, close the windows well, and warned patients with sinus issues, chest diseases, and the elderly not to go out during current fluctuating weather conditions.

They also warned drivers to be cautious on highways due to poor visibility.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 21°C in Cairo, 21°C in Alexandria, 20°C in Marsa Matruh, 21°C in Sohag, 23°C in Qena, and 24°C in Aswan.
