Egypt Sees Cold Weather on Wednesday, Cairo 20°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Wednesday.

It is also foreseen that moderate weather to prevail in South Sinai and the south of the country.

Furthermore, dusty winds will occur occasionally from the north of the country to North Upper Egypt.

There are chances of light rain prevailing intermittently in the South Delta, which may reach Cairo. There are also chances of moderate rain prevailing intermittently in the Northern Coast and North Delta.

It is also foreseen that the Mediterranean Sea would experience a disruption of maritime navigation, with wind speed reaching 60 to 70 55 km/hr and wave height ranging from 4 to 5 meters.

There will also be a disruption of maritime navigation in the Red Sea with wind speed reaching 50 to 60 km/hr and wave height ranging from 2.5 to 3 meters.

Meanwhile, a cold atmosphere is predicted to prevail in the country at nighttime.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 20°C in Cairo, 19°C in Alexandria, 20°C in Marsa Matruh, 21°C in Sohag, 21°C in Qena, and 23°C in Aswan.
