The Egyptian Public Prosecution released, on Friday, actress Menna Shalaby after arresting her with 12 packages of drugs.
The customs authorities at Cairo International Airport arrested the actress after the X-ray device detected the presence of material that could be drugs.
After that, Anti-Narcotics General Administration asserted that Shalby had those materials for personal abuse.
After asking the actress, she denied ownership of the seized material.
The Public Prosecution released the actress on bail of 50,000.
However, the concerned authorities will conduct further examinations, in addition, the investigations will be continued.
