Medhat Saleh to Perform in Alexandria Next Month

Veteran artist Medhat Saleh will perform the first concert on Alexandria Opera House' Roman Theater on August 5.

It is worthy to mention that Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, the Minister of Culture, approved the program of activities of the Roman Theater that supervised by the Alexandria Opera House after a three-year of suspension.

The activities of the new program will take place between August 5 and 10.

Abdel Dayem said that the events will be various once and they represent a principle of fairness in organizing entertaining and cultural events across all Egypt, in addition, the upcoming events will address the whole society.

The program will also introduce positive messages to the audience, in addition, they will target raising the awareness of the audience.

On his side, the Director of Cairo Opera House Dr. Magdy Saber said that the program will witness the participation of veteran singer Medhat Saleh, Mohamed Mohsen, Massar Egbari band, Dina El Wadidi, and other musicians.

On the other hand, Cairo Opera House will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the 23rd July Revolution by presenting a night of national songs dedicated to Egypt on Saturday at the Fountain Theater.

The children choirs will participate at the concert, and it will be conducted by Salah Ghobashy.

Abdel Dayem said that the event represented unforgettable memory for all Egyptians, and it inspired all Egyptians in terms of creativity, thinking, and culture.

In addition, she highlighted that the revolution was represented in several works that portrayed the features of the revolutionary project of Egypt for construction and improvement.
