Egyptian superstar, Medhat Saleh performed Tuesday evening at the 32nd edition of the Citadel Festival for Music and Singing, set to run from August 15 to 28 at the historic Citadel of Salah Al-Din.
The concert, conducted by Maestro Ahmed Amer, was hosted at the Cairo Opera House’s -Mahky theatre.
Saleh dazzled the audience with a selection of his popular and latest songs such as “Zay Ma Heya Hebaha”, “Habiby Ya Asheq”, and “El Milionerat”.
He also surprised the audience by introducing a new talent, Maya, who enchanted them with the song "Hawa Ya Hawa".
Saleh was preceded by singer Saad Eloud, who enthralled the crowd with his unique style.
He presented a set of his distinctive songs and works of Arabic music, including “Ah Ya Gamil Ya Elli Nasini”, “Al Sahebjiya”, “Laylat Embarah Majanish Noum”, “Elli Ta’abna Sanin Fi Hawa”, “El Halawah Di”, “Ala Ramsh Oyounha”, “Ala Hasab Wedad”, “Zi El Hawa”, “Luxor Baladna”, “Betnadini Tany Leh”, and “El Laila El Kabeera”.
