The Muslim Council of Elders attracted strong engagement on the opening day of its participation in the New Delhi World Book Fair 2026, as visitors showed keen interest in the Council’s publications and intellectual initiatives.

Attendees explored a wide range of works promoting dialogue and cultural understanding, while open discussions highlighted the role of knowledge as a bridge between peoples and civilizations. Organizers said the interaction reflected growing interest in ideas that encourage mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.

The Council’s participation aligns with its mission to promote dialogue, spread a culture of peace, and reinforce the values of coexistence and mutual understanding.

As part of its program, the Council will host an intellectual seminar titled “AI for Humanity: Religious Perspectives on Ethical Artificial Intelligence,” bringing together academics and thinkers to discuss ethical and religious dimensions of emerging technologies.

The New Delhi World Book Fair runs through Jan. 18, 2026.
