Mayan El Sayed Joins TV Series "Nos Al Shab Esmo Mohamed"

Egyptian actress Mayan El Sayed is the latest addition to the cast of the TV series "Nos Al Shab Esmo Mohamed" (Half of the People Are Called Mohamed).

Essam Omar, Rania Youssef, and Sawsan Badr are also set to star.

The drama consists of 15 episodes and hails from director Abdelaziz El Naggar and scriptwriter Mohamed Ragaa.

"Nos Al Shab Esmo Mohamed" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.

Embratoreyet Meem

El Sayed participated last Ramadan with the TV adaptation of the 1972 film "Embratoreyet Meem" (Empire M).

The cast also stars Khaled El Nabawyو Hala Shiha, Nour El-Nabawy, Nashwa Moustafa, Mahmoud Hafez, Mohamed Mahmoud Abdulaziz, Rasha Mahdi, Eman Al Sayyed, Hagar ElSarrag, and more.

The reimagining, consisting of 30 episodes, hailed from director Mohamed Salama and scriptwriter Mohamed Suleiman Abdel Malek. Aroma Studios is the studio behind the series.

"Embratoreyet Meem" follows a Mona (Faten Hamama), a widow raising her six kids besides her work. 

She gradually falls in love with businessman Ahmed (Ahmed Mazhar) but doesn't give in to her feelings easily being torn apart between her devotion to her children and her future with Ahmed.

The film featured a cast that included Faten Hamama, Ahmed Mazhar, Hesham Selim, Dawlat Abyad, Ali Gawhar, Saif Abo El Naga, Nagyat Kandel, and others.

Filmmaker Hussein Kamal directed the pic from a script by Ihsan Abd al-Qudus and Mustafa Samy.

El Sayed, born on November 7, 1997, made her acting debut in the 2016 TV series "Al-Moghany".

She is known for her roles in TV productions such as "Leabet Newton", "Fekra B'million Geneh", "Hagma Mortadda", "Harb Ahlia", "Ella Ana S2", "Zodiac", "El Ab El Rohi", and "Zel El Raees"

Her film credits include "Gawwezni", "Harb Karmooz", and "Banat Sanawy".
