Egyptian actress Mayan El Sayed has recently joined the cast of the TV adaptation of Ibrahim Abdel Meguim's novel "Eatabat Al Bahga".
The cast also includes Yehia El-Fakharany, Naglaa Badr, Jumana Murad, Nour El Nabawy, Sayed Ragab, Samaa Ibrahem, Donia Maher, Gihan El Shamashergy, and more.
It is scripted by Medhat El Adl, directed by Magdy Abu Emeira, and produced by El Adl Group.
"Eatabat Al Bahga" consists of 15 episodes and witnesses the veteran actor's comeback to the drama marathon after two years of absence.
He made his last participation in the marathon with the 2021 TV series “Nagib Zahi Zarkash”.
The series follows a widow (Played by El Fakharany), who lives alone following the death of his wife five years ago despite having a son and daughter.
However, his son, who is in university but is not interested in connecting with his father, and a married daughter who does not ask about him.
The series also sheds light on the time gap between parents and children caused by modern technology.
"Eatabat Al Bahga" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
El Sayed participated last Ramadan with Yousra‘s “1000 Hamdallah Ala Al Salama” and Donia Samir Ghanem's "Gat Salema".
El Sayed, born on November 7, 1997, made her acting debut in the 2016 TV series "Al-Moghany".
She is known for her roles in TV productions such as "Leabet Newton", "Fekra B'million Geneh", "Hagma Mortadda", "Harb Ahlia", "Ella Ana S2", "Zodiac", "El Ab El Rohi", and "Zel El Raees"
Her film credits include "Gawwezni", "Harb Karmooz", and "Banat Sanawy".
