Lebanese singer and TV presenter Maya Diab's latest statements still go viral since Christmas. Diab has touched upon various topics including the political status in Lebanon, her dispute with Rima Rahbani, and COVID-19 vaccines.
During her latest appearance on Christmas eve on MTV Lebanon, Diab criticized the political scene in her country, adding that new names will join the Lebanese political scene, and they can make a difference.

Moreover, she addressed Rima Rahbani's oppositions regarding Diab's performance of Fayrouz's national songs after the massive Beirut port explosion.
Therefore, Diab has performed Fayrouz's "La Tanam" and sent her greetings to Rahbani. Until this moment Rahbani doesn't react towards Diab's action.

Also, she explained her latest tweet regarding the newly authorized COVID-19 vaccines. She asserted that what she tweeted is her personal opinion, asserting that vaccines need a long term to be authorized.
Previously, the singer tweeted that people should not be in a hurry to have the vaccine as the vaccines' production needs takes from four to six years.
She added, "don't inject your bodies with poison."
