Warner Bros. Discovery is sizzling up excitement for Max‘s 2024 slate — and beyond — with a glimpse of the streamer’s upcoming programming.

The footage features never-before-seen footage from new and returning series and specials, including “The Penguin” from Warner Bros. Television and DC Studios starring Colin Farrell in the title role as well as the limited series “The Sympathizer,” starring Hoa Xuande, Fred Nguyen Khan, Toan Le, Ky Duyen, with Sandra Oh, and star and executive producer Robert Downey Jr., who plays multiple roles.

In addition, the slate includes a “special first look” of footage from 2025 original series “Welcome To Derry” (working title), a prequel to Stephen King’s “It.” (Watch the spot below or at this link.)

Other featured first looks include Larry David’s returning comedy series “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” Season 3 of “Industry,” the fourth and final season of “My Brilliant Friend” and the second installment of the HBO docu-series “The Jinx,” a six-episode continuation of the 2015 series.

Returning Max originals highlighted in the spot include Emmy-winning comedy “Hacks,” “Tokyo Vice,” “Pretty Little Liars: Summer School” and “The Sex Lives of College Girls,” along with “Jerrod Carmichael: Reality Show,” “Elizabeth,” “The Franchise” and upcoming series “Conan O’Brien Must Go.”

The video comes after this weekend’s Season 2 trailer drop for the HBO original “House of the Dragon,” the continuation of the popular “Game of Thrones” prequel series.

“HOD” Season 2 gets a nod in the new Max sizzle, as do the new HBO original “True Detective: Night Country” starring Jodie Foster and Kali Reis; HBO limited series “The Regime,” starring Kate Winslet; and returning comedy series “Somebody Somewhere.”

In addition, the spot teases the scheduled 2025 returns of HBO original series “The Last of Us,” which had the biggest debut season in HBO’s history, as well as new seasons of “The White Lotus,” “Euphoria” and “And Just Like That.”

Separately, WBD on Wednesday announced an exclusive U.S. output deal with A24 that will bring film including “Priscilla” and “The Iron Claw” to HBO and Max after their theatrical runs.
