Egyptian actress Mariam El Gendy has boarded the cast of stars Diab and Mostafa Gharieb's TV series "Bahagar Wahed".
The cast also includes Mimi Gamal, Mohamed Abdel Azim, Sayed Ragab, and more.
The project marks the first collaboration between Diab and Gharieb as well as the latter's first lead role in a drama.
It hails from director Islam Khairy and is produced by the E-Producers banner.
"Bahagar Wahed” is set to screen on "MBC Masr" TV Channel and "Shahid" VOD during the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon.
El Gendy participated last Ramadan with season 2 of the star-studded TV series "El Atawla".
The cast of season 2 features original cast members Ahmed El Sakka, Tarek Lotfy, Zeina, Bassem Samra, Hoda Eletreby, Mostafa Abo Sriea, Mariam El Gendy, and more.
The ensemble cast also includes Fifi Abdou, Nesreen Amin, and Tharaa Goubail.
The drama is scripted by Mustafa Gamal Hashem, directed by Ahmed Khaled Mousa, and produced by Cedars Art Production.
Mariam El Gendy was born in 1993 to the veteran actor Mahmoud El Gendy.
She made her acting debut as a child star in the 2003 TV series "Al-Nass Fi Kafr Askar", followed by the 2005 fawazer show "Am Karim Abo Al Mafahem".
Mariam El Gendy disappeared from the acting industry for some time and made a comeback in the 2019 play "Egypt Cinema," directed by Khaled Galal.
She is best known for her roles in TV productions such as"Ma Tarah Laysa Kama Yabdo," "Welad El Shams," "Saatoh Wa Tarekhoh," "El Atawla,""Cobra," "Balto,", and "El Ekhteyar S2".
