Margot Robbie Welcomes First Baby with Husband Tom Ackerley

Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley have welcomed their first baby together.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple welcomed a boy on October 17 — slightly ahead of schedule —  and added that “all is well” with the family of three. The outlet also said the couple’s parents are expected to arrive soon to meet their grandson.

In July, it was reported that the “Barbie” star, 34, was expecting her first child after photos surfaced of Robbie baring her baby bump on vacation in Italy. 

Robbie showed her belly in a cropped white top while in Lake Como with her 34-year-old husband. 

The Oscar nominee and the filmmaker have kept their romance notoriously private since meeting in 2013. The couple started dating the following year after being “friends for so long,”. 

In a candid interview with Vogue in 2016, she explained that the idea of romance had previously made the self-proclaimed “ultimate single gal … want to vomit.”

However, the Golden Globe nominee noted, “This crept up on me. … I was always in love with him, but I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him.'”

When “it happened,” the couple “made so much sense,” she recalled.

While it is unclear whether the duo got engaged, Robbie and Ackerley’s wedding made headlines in December 2016 when they walked down the aisle in an intimate ceremony on Australia’s Gold Coast.

The pair work closely together as co-founders of LuckyChap Entertainment — and he gushed to the Times of London in June about their “seamless” dynamic.

“We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing,” the actor said of spending “24 hours a day” together.

Together, they brought “Promising Young Woman,” “Maid” and more projects to the screen.
