Margot Robbie is expecting her first child with her husband, actor and movie producer Tom Ackerley.
The “Barbie” star debuted her baby bump in a white crop top earlier in the day while taking a boat ride in Lake Como, Italy, with the movie producer.
The 36-year-old couple tied the knot in December 2016 during an intimate ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia.
At the time, they had been dating for about two years after meeting in 2013 on the set of the war drama “Suite Française.”
The “Suicide Squad” actress told Vogue in May 2016 that her relationship with “the best-looking guy in London” was unexpected.
“I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit,” she said. “And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him.”
Robbie continued, “But I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him.’ And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.'”
In 2014, the couple co-founded the production company LuckyChap Entertainment, which has created several movies, including “Barbie,” “I, Tonya” and “Birds of Prey,” all of which Robbie has starred in.
While they are notoriously private about their relationship, Ackerley gave a glimpse into their lives together during an interview with the Times of London last month.
He revealed they spend “24 hours a day” together and do not feel the need to separate business from pleasure.
“It’s seamless,” Ackerley told the outlet. “We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing.”
The movie producer, who is from England, also disclosed his biggest argument with the Australian beauty stems from “whether [Australia’s] Tim Tams or Penguins are better.”
While Ackerley works behind the screen, he has been Robbie’s biggest supporter in public, often joining her on red carpets, including Variety’s Power of Women in Los Angeles, where he read her acceptance speech after she lost her voice last year.
