Syrian actress Maram Ali has boarded the film "Al Haris" (The Vigilante).
Ali joins previously announced cast members Hani Salama, Mirhan Hussein, Mahmoud Yassin Jr., and more.
Written by Omar Abd El-Haliem and directed by Yasser Samy, “Al Haris” marks Ali's first time starring in an Egyptian film.
The film explores the detrimental psychological and societal impacts of social media.
The plot centers on a group of adolescents who become entangled in an investigation to uncover a digital mystery.
It blends contemporary themes of online vulnerability with a suspense-driven plot, focusing on how modern connectivity can lead to unforeseen dangers for younger demographics.

Ali was last seen starring opposite Egyptian singer-actor Ahmed Fahmi in the TV series "Etneen Kahwa.”
The cast also includes Mohsen Mohieddin, Mai Elkady, Nancy Salah, Hazem Ehab, Passant Abu Basha, Ahmed El Shamy, Karim El-Emary, and more.
It is scripted by Amr Mahmoud Yassin, directed by Essam Nassar, and produced by Ahmed Abdel-Ati.

Born on February 21, 1992, Ali holds an MA in Sociology from Beirut Arab University and is a PhD. candidate researching TV Drama & Social Change. Trained at New Theatre Lab, Damascus. Focuses on feminist narratives. She also teaches literacy at women's shelters.
She was discovered by director Nagdat Anzour, who introduced her to the audience in many works. Ali is known for her TV series such as "Regret" and "Romantica".
