Maika Monroe will star in the upcoming film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's best-selling book “Reminders Of Him.”
"Reminders of Him" is a film about motherhood, forgiveness, and the power of one love to heal even the most shattered heart.
Vanessa Caswill will direct the film. The screenplay was written by Hoover and Lauren Levine, based on Hoover’s novel.
Hoover and Levine are producing the film through their production company, Heartbones Entertainment. Gina Matthews is producing through Little Engine Productions. Robin Fisichella is executive producing.
First published in 2022, "Reminders of Him" has sold more than 6 million copies in the United States and is a best seller around the world.
Hoover is the author of numerous novels, including "It Ends with Us", "It Starts with Us", "Layla", "Heart Bones", "Confess", and "Verity".
Director of Production Development Christine Sun will oversee the project for the studio.
Monroe is coming off a stellar year with the hit horror thriller "Longlegs" breaking box-office records for an indie distributor and launching her to A-list stature.
She can be seen next as the lead in "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle" reimagining at 20th Century.
