Jordanian singer-actress Mai Selim has recently joined season four of Egyptian singer-actor Hamada Helal's TV series "Al Maddah", set to screen during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.

Season one of the series premiered in 2021 and spawned two seasons: "Al Maddah: Ostouret Al Wadi" (2022) and "Al Maddah: Ostouret El Ishq" (2023).

The series followed Saber (Helal), who was adopted and raised by an imam of the mosque (Bedir), as he harnesses his religious learning for bad deeds that lead to many ordeals.

Season 3 of "Al Maddah" featured the return of previous cast members including Heba Magdi, Khaled Zaki, Mohamed Riyad, Khaled Sarhan, Donia Abdalaziz, Hanan Suleiman, Rania Farid Shawky, Abdel Aziz Makhyoun, Samah Anwar, and Ahmed Maher.

It also featured newcomers Yousra El-Lozy, Mohamed Riyad, Rania Farid Shawky, Khaled Zaki, and Salma Abu Deif.

Ahmed Samir Farag directed the series from a screenplay by Amin Gamal, Walid Abu Al-Majd, and Sherif Yousry.

The season 3 finale of "Al Maddah" saw Saber (Helal) and Amina (Abu Deif) escaping to the Monastery of St. Catherine with his child Ezz to reach the secret of the enchanted tree that appears on his hand, after Dr. Ibrahim (Zaki) told him that the answer can be found in Saint Catherine.

The head of the monastery meets him and clued him in that the sign can be found in St. Catherine, and noted that he didn't know the location of the book Queen of the Jinn, Hind Bint Al-Ahmar (Lucy) had wanted.

He asked him to spend time alone in prayer at the top of Mount Moses until the sign appeared to him.

Indeed, the sign appears on his hand and then goes to Taj (El-Lozy) to help him in his fight against the jinn, but she tells him that she is from a different tribe other than the tribe of the Hind bint Al-Ahmar and couldn't help him due to the laws between the two tribes that prevent them from helping him.

However, she told him to seek the genie Emad (Tamer Shaltut), and indeed Emad appears to him and tells him the whereabouts of Hind bint Al-Ahmar.

Al Maddah went to Wadi Al-Jin, in which “Hind Bint Al-Ahmar” and her tribe reside, and defeats her after using some verses of the Holy Quran.

Afterward, things begin to return to normal, and Amina marries the love of her life, Jamal (Mahran), Al Maddah reunited with his wife, Rehab (Magdy), and her sister Manal (Abdelaziz) returns to her husband, Hassan (Sarhan).

The episode concluded with the appearance of Haim (Riyad), Ahlam (Shawky), and Zain (Ezz) standing in front of the jinn Qazah, whose identity was revealed to be Maged Al-Masry.

The final scene sees Qazah in front of Al Maddah's house and filming the land. He met with Al Maddah and introduced himself as Samih, telling him that was the owner of the land.
