Egyptian stars Mai Omar and Ahmed El Sakka have found their next collaboration in the upcoming star-studded film “Hiroshima”.
Ahmed Nader Galal directs the film from a script by Ayman Bahgat Amar. New Century Production and Square Media Production are the studios behind the pic.
"Hiroshima" marks Omar and El Sakka's third collaboration after the 2021 TV series "Nasl El Aghrab" and the 2019 TV series "Weld Al Ghalabah".
The project features a group of prominent actors from Egypt and the Arab world.
The cast also includes Yasmin Raeis, Diab, Hanan Motawie, Ahmed Rizk, Amr Abdel Gelil, Alaa Morsi, Nahed El Sebai, Ahmed Rizk, and more.
Principal photography is expected to begin soon after final preparations are completed.
Omar was last seen on the big screen in the 2024 star-studded film “Baad Saat Fi Youm Ma”.
Omar, born on February 7, 1988, started her career as a producer in the field of advertising, then got into acting in 2013 with her role as Walaa in the TV Series “Hekayet Hayah”.
She is best known for her roles in the TV shows "Alaqa Mashroa" (2023), "Lu lu" (2020), “Weld El Ghalaba” (2019), “Rayah el Madam” (2017), “Afaret Adly Allam” (2017), “Al Ostora” (2017), “Halet Eshq” (2015), “Kalam Aala Wara” (2014), and “Hekayet Hayah” (2013).
