Egyptian singer-actress, Mai Kassab is joining hands for the first time with actor Ahmed El Sakka in a new TV series.
The series hails from director Ahmed Khaled Mousa and is set to screen in the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
Kassab participated last Ramadan with the star-studded TV series “Gaafar El Omda”.
The series starred Mohamed Ramadan, Eman El Assi, Zeina, Menna Fadali, Hala Sedki, Ahmed Dash, and others.
It was scripted and directed by Mohamed Sami and marked Ramadan and Sami’s fourth collaboration after the 2020 TV series “Al Prince”, the 2016 TV series “Al-Ostora”, and the 2017 film “Jawab E'teqal”.
Kassab, born on December 8, 1981, began her music career by forming the band “Ghamid Eneyk” with the Syrian musician Magd Al Kassem.
The band released its first album “Hagga Tiksif” in 2005 and the second album “Ahla al Kalam” in 2007.
In 2006, Kassab made her acting debut alongside Ahmed El Fishawy in a comedy TV series “Tamir wa Shawqiyah.”
Thereafter, Mai appeared in a number of film roles such as “Al Farah” and “Bobos."
