Egyptian singer-actress, Mai Kassab is joining hands for the first time with actor Ahmed Elawady in the radio series "Gareema Montasaf El Nile".
The cast also includes Enaam Salosa, Ahmad Seyam, and more. It is scripted by Mahmoud Hemdan and directed by Ali Moselhi.
"Gareema Montasaf El Nile" is set to broadcast on the 9090 radio station during the holy month of Ramadan.
The cast also includes Ahmed El Sakka, Hanan Soliman, Salah Abdallah, Mai Kassab, Tarek Lotfy, Zeina, Bassem Samra, Huda El Mufti, Hoda Eletreby, and more.
"El Atawla" marks the first collaboration between El Sakka and Lotfy in 20 years. They previously collaborated on films "Ean Aleashq Walhuaa" (2006), and "Saeidi Fil Gameaa Al Amerikeya" (1998).
It marks the first collaboration between El Sakka and Zeina in 13 years. They previously collaborated on the 2007 smash hit film "El Gezira"(The Island).
The series consists of 30 episodes and hails from scriptwriter Hisham Hilal and director Ahmed Khaled Mousa.
"El Atawla" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
Kassab, born on December 8, 1981, began her music career by forming the band “Ghamid Eneyk” with the Syrian musician Magd Al Kassem.
The band released its first album “Hagga Tiksif” in 2005 and the second album “Ahla al Kalam” in 2007.
In 2006, Kassab made her acting debut alongside Ahmed El Fishawy in a comedy TV series “Tamir wa Shawqiyah.”
Thereafter, Mai appeared in a number of film roles such as “Al Farah” and “Bobos."
