Egyptian stars Mai Ezz Eldin and Amr Youssef's upcoming play "Alby W Ashbaho" is set to be staged from October 29 to November 2, within the activities of the 5th edition of the Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia.

The cast also stars Soliman Eid, Hamdy Marghany, Eman El Sayed, Marwa Anwar, and more.

It hails from director Mohamed Mohamady and screenwriters Taha Zaghluol, Nour Mahran, and Ahmed Abdelaziz.

"Alby W Ashbaho" marks the first collaboration between the pair and is produced by Salah El Gehiny.

The play's official synopsis reads: "While filming a horror movie inside an abandoned mansion, the crew is surprised to find that the mansion is haunted by real ghosts when the owner of the mansion appears, involving the film's hero and the rest of the filming crew in a mission with the ghosts that inhabit the place."

Ezz Eldin made her last stage appearance in the play "Zawag Estenay" (Artificial Marriage).

The play was restaged from August 1-4 at City Walk Arabic Theater in Jeddah as part of the Jeddah Season in Saudi Arabia.

The cast also includes Mohamed Sallam, Bayoumi Fouad, Eman El-Sayed, Soleiman Eid, Donia El Masry, Moustafa Ghareeb, and more.

The play's official synopsis reads: "Shorouk and Farouk are exposed to a crisis on their wedding night, which forces them to turn to an expert in marital relations, who conducts a new experiment on them using artificial intelligence that makes them rethink their entire marriage project."

The play marked Eldin's theatrical debut and debuted last year at the Riyadh Season 2023 in Saudi Arabia. It was hosted on October 30 at the Mohammed Alali Theater.
