Veteran Egyptian actor Mahmoud Hemida and actor Asser Yassin are reuniting for a brand-new Netflix series.
Jordanian actress Rakeen Saad is also starring in the project.
The series consists of eight episodes and is set to debut on the giant streamer. It is directed by Mohamed Al Masry and directed by Al Sadeer Massoud.
The project marks the duo's second collaboration after the 2015 film "Men Dahr Ragel".
Principal photography is officially underway.
Hemida, born on December 7, 1953, kicked off his acting career with performances on television.
He participated in several TV series including “Harat Al Shurafa”, and “Al Wassiyah”, his performance in the latter drew a lot of praise and acclaim for his talents and marked the beginning of his rise as a star.
The start of Hemida’s career in the cinema began with performing a leading role alongside veteran actor Ahmed Zaki in the 1990 movie “Al Embrator”.
He has also founded a production company that has released several films including “Janat Al Shayytan” as well as founded an entertainment magazine titled “Al Fann Al Sabeaa”.
Hemida has proved his uniqueness in his ability to perform the characters he is assigned with efficiency, who is notable for his best form in “Faris Al Madinah”, and “Aafarit Al Asfalt”.
