Maged El Masry Joins TV Series "Darb Nar"

Egyptian actor Maged El Masry has recently joined the cast of Egyptian stars Yasmin Abdelaziz and Ahmed Elawady's TV series "Darb Nar" (Gunfire).

It also stars Hoda Eletreby, Iman El Sayed, Badria Tolba, and others.

The series will also feature acclaimed actress Soheir El-Morshidy making her comeback to the small screen after four years of absence.

Director Mostafa Fekry is helming from a script by screenwriter Nasser Abdel Rahman.

"Darb Nar" is set to premiere in Ramadan 2023 drama marathon.

El Masry, born on October 15, 1963, began performing in nightclubs with his former wife singer Mona Ish Ish. They even had their celebrity couple name "Maged and Mona".

El Masry's talent was discovered during school, where he studied the art of popular, classical dance, and ballet.He made an album that was released in the market but unfortunately, it wasn’t very successful.

He was discovered and introduced to the cinema by late director Hussam El Din Mostafa in the 1994 film “El Gasousa Hekmat Fahmy”.

El Masry is known for his roles in 2018 film “El Badla”, in 1997 film “Ferkah banat w Bas”, and in 1996 film "El-Mara'a W Al-Satoor".

He is best known for his roles in TV proudctions “Malaf Serry” (2022), “Touba” (2022), “Al Wageh Al Akhar” (2020), “Lama Kona Soghayareen” (2020), “Bahr” (2019), “Zelzal” (2019), “Al Tofan” (2017), “Qesset Hob” (2015), “Ayon Al Qalb” (2015), “Kalam Aala Wara” (2014), “Leabet el Mout” (2013), “Ma Sabek El Asrar” (2012), “Adam” (2011), and “Li dawa'y Amneya” (2002).
