Pop icon Madonna, 64, is sharing a new update on her health after being hospitalized for a bacterial infection.

The 64-year-old singer took to Instagram on Thursday to show off her dance moves and celebrate the 40th anniversary of her debut album, "Madonna".

Set to the hit "Lucky Star" from the 1983 release, the clip shows Madonna dressed in a black mesh top and black cargo pants, dancing around her bathroom as she mouths the words to the song.

“To be able to move my body and dance just a little bit makes me feel like the Luckiest Star in the world!” Madonna wrote. “Thank you to all of my fans and friends!” she continued of the support she’s received amid the health scare. “You must be my lucky stars too! And Happy 40th Birthday to my very. First Album- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.”

Last week, Madonna gave fans a first look at her recovery. In the series of selfies, she posed for the camera.

On June 28, Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, revealed on Instagram that Madonna spent a few days in the ICU after she developed a serious bacterial infection on June 24.

The pop icon was found unresponsive and rushed to a New York City hospital. She was intubated for at least one night before having the tube removed.

MadonnaThe hospitalization has forced the acclaimed singer to put her massive, career-spanning Celebration tour on pause.

The “Celebration” tour was set to commemorate Madonna’s 40th anniversary of her career that would take her to 43 cities across the world through the beginning of next year.

She was set to perform over 80 shows across North America and Europe including Chicago, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, London, Barcelona, and Paris. According to its announcement in January, the trek was created to “[highlight] her unmatched catalog of music from the past 40-plus years,” while simultaneously “[paying] respect to the city of New York, where her career in music began.”

The tour was originally scheduled to begin July 15 in Vancouver and rehearsals were nearing completion before the singer was hospitalized.

The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe.

A source close to the tour production previously told Page Six that she had been strenuously rehearsing for up to 12 hours to prepare for the global trek.

A separate source said that the songstress was constantly pushing herself to keep up with her younger dancers

“While she is as good as the people she is working with, many of them are a fraction of her age and without her history of injuries,” one of her friends told the outlet.

“Of course, there are other acts older than her still on the road, but they aren’t dancing and performing like she does.”

It is not clear what initially caused the bacterial infection, but doctors say it became extremely serious and required treatment in intensive care.
